What an interesting and busy couple of weeks. First off, we played the Outdoor Adventure and Live Music Festival in Montebello, VA, and we'd like to thank the Outdoor Adventure Social Club of Greater Charlottesville, VA for having us. We came, we camped, we rocked out. Then last week, Wes and Debra hit IOTA in Arlington (pictured below) for some quality acoustic duo time for friends Practically Einstein and their CD Release party. Next month, we crash Pennsylvania Avenue in DC for Capital Pride, which is always a good time.

Well here we are staring down April, and finally making some progress towards finishing up our latest to-be-named recording. We spent last weekend having quality time together, hosting an all-star jam featuring Cecil Delloma of Cincinnati's Third Stone Oracle and Rick (MindCage) of DC's own Mindless Faith. After a night out seeing Butch Walker at the 9:30 Club, it was all down to business Sunday, getting some solid vocal tracks recorded. It's all coming together, folks.

Well Happy New Year folks! Thanks to everyone who came out to our show at Fat Tuesday's on Dec. 20th, and thanks to our good friends at The Dreamscapes Project for an excellent show. Maybe we'll lay down Honeychuck's version of "Blue Christmas" in time for the holidays 2009! You'll have to wait and see. The latter part of 2008 was a season of moving and shaking - moving (Wes, Debra), and shaking (congrats Ben on his nuptial bliss). Here's to a productive and rockin' 2009.

Seems like we can't stop thanking everyone for being so supportive over the last few months. First the 9:30 Club, then the State Theatre - we are truly grateful for having some really awesome fans. This is us (and an unknown friend behind us) enjoying some time under the marquee before the show.

This was taken sometime at the end of "Don't Wait On Me" at the 9:30 Club on May 23rd. The whole day, from load-in, to sound check, to the first and last moments of the show were incredible. And if that light show doesn't make you feel like a rock star... well, then something's wrong.
